In Unison is proud to work in collaboration with the California State University at Northridge (CSUN). Our partnership connects both music and community projects.
CSUN’s Valley Performing Arts Center will host a series of concerts for In Unison in 2016. These concerts will help to celebrate music of Los Angeles and its many cultures.
In addition to collaborating with music, In Unison and CSUN’s Institute for Community Health and Wellbeing are working together to focus on community building endeavors grounded with a strong educative component. CSUN’s current projects include providing support for children with autism spectrum disorders, aiding and supporting veterans, active engagement in reducing childhood obesity, and hosting workshops dedicated to addressing teenage social issues.
“The Institute for Community Health and Wellbeing is a collaborative of campus and community affiliations focused on strengthening individuals and communities through creative partnerships and education. We endeavor to match campus expertise and resources in response to regional needs.”
