Learn it live, with people who’ve done it.
InUnison Educational Events are live learning built for local business owners and their teams. You show up, ask the questions you actually have, and leave with a clearer head or a skill you can use, not a webinar to watch later.
A Standard Event, included with membership. Core includes 4 a year; Individual and Team have unlimited access.
Why live
The learning happens in the room.
Reading about pricing is useful. Sitting in a room while three people who set prices for a living argue about it, and being able to say “wait, what about my situation?”, is a different thing entirely.
Educational events are where you get that: experienced leaders and experts, a small enough group to speak up, and other local owners working through the same questions. When there’s something worth keeping afterward (a recording, a worksheet, a recap), it goes to the members who attended, and often into the wider member library too.
Three formats
Pick the format that matches where you are.
Same goal every time: you leave better equipped than you came. What changes is how deep you go and how much of the time is yours. You don’t need to know the names; each event says which one it is.
Panel Discussions
Hear the real range of options. A moderated conversation with experienced local business leaders who don’t always agree, so you hear what’s actually worked for them, not one person’s pitch.
Best for a topic you’re newer to, or a decision you’re about to make and want context on first.
You leave with a clearer picture, several perspectives from people who’ve been there, better questions for your own business, and practical next steps.
Expert Presentations & Q&A
Learn from someone who knows the topic well. An expert shares what they know and what’s working, usually with time set aside for your questions.
Best for when you want a focused, expert take on a topic, and a chance to ask how it applies to your business.
You leave with an expert’s perspective, answers to your questions, and ideas you can put to work.
Small-Group Expert Sessions
Direct access to an expert, not just a presentation. An intentionally small session built around discussion and your questions, with time to talk through your own situation.
Best for when you have specific questions about a real challenge and want more depth than a bigger event allows.
You leave with direct expert guidance, answers to your questions, ideas from the other businesses in the room, and practical next steps.
Not sure which to choose?
Want a range of perspectives → a Panel Discussion. Want one expert’s focused take → an Expert Presentation. Have pointed questions about your own business → a Small-Group Expert Session. Each one stands on its own. There’s no order to follow, so come to whichever fits what you need.

Common questions
Do I need to attend these in order?
No. Panel Discussions and Expert Presentations are related by topic, not a sequence. Each one stands on its own. Come to whichever fits what you need right now.
What’s the difference between a Panel Discussion and a Small-Group Expert Session?
A Panel Discussion is a broader conversation with several experienced leaders, built to give you the lay of the land. A Small-Group Expert Session is intentionally small, centered on one expert and your questions, and goes deeper into your specific situation.
Are educational events in person or virtual?
Either, depending on the event. Each event’s calendar listing tells you the format, the date, and how long to plan for, usually about an hour to an hour and a half.
Can non-members attend?
Anyone can see what’s coming up, but educational events are a member benefit. Registration goes through your membership. If you’re considering joining, compare the membership tiers or get in touch.
Are educational events recorded?
When it’s practical. Recordings that are made go into the member Video Library. Small-Group Expert Sessions often aren’t recorded on purpose. The conversation is candid and business-specific, and that only works if it stays in the room.
What do I get after the event?
It varies by session, but attendees typically get any materials referenced during the session, a short survey to shape future ones, and, when there is one, the recording or a recap. Useful takeaways often end up in the Learning Lab or Tools & Resources for everyone.
How does registration count against my membership?
Educational events are Standard Events. On Core, each one you attend is one of your 4 included Standard Events for the year. Individual and Team have unlimited Standard Event access, and Team covers everyone on the membership. See membership tiers →
